Overview
Dunya joined 3PB as a probationary tenant in June 2026, following the successful completion of a common law pupillage at a leading regional set. She is currently supervised by Oliver Nunn.
Dunya accepts instructions across a broad range of property matters in chambers’ core areas. She combines strong technical knowledge with confident advocacy and a practical, client-focused approach.
Dunya has experience in both residential and commercial property disputes, including:
- Possession proceedings, including drafting, case preparation and attendance at possession hearings,
- Anti-social behaviour injunctions (ASBIs),
- Access injunctions,
- Forfeiture and enforcement,
- Lease renewals,
- Telecommunication disputes,
- Rights of light matters.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Dunya worked as a paralegal at leading law firms where she assisted on complex property matters and managed her own caseload. She regularly drafted pleadings, advised clients (particularly landlords), and supported cases from inception through to resolution. Her experience included:
Preparation and conduct of possession proceedings, including drafting pleadings and briefing counsel for hearings,
Worked on cases involving anti-social behaviour injunctions, including evidence gathering and case preparation,
Drafting statements of case in forfeiture and landlord and tenant disputes,
Supported matters involving rights of light and telecommunications disputes.
Dunya also worked as a Home Office Presenting Officer, appearing regularly before the First-tier Tribunal in contested hearings.
She is a confident and effective advocate, experienced in handling contested hearings and working sensitively with vulnerable clients.

Additional Information
Dunya is fluent in Dari. She is passionate about social mobility and founded the Afghan Debating Society for Children, supporting young Afghans in developing advocacy skills and integrating into society.
