In 2012 he was appointed Deputy Head of Business which saw his responsibilities grow gaining control over the Chambers IT infrastructure. James was promoted to the post of Director of Operations in 2017 which sees him responsible for all procurement, HR, IT, future operational planning and implementation. He became COO in May 2025.

James is a member of the Senior Management Team which assists with the strategic development of Chambers as well being a member of the Legal Practice Managers Association.

James works closely with all members of staff and prides himself on being efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and approachable.

Outside of work Christian enjoys sound engineering, musical theatre and film.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys time with his family, playing card games with the children and making interactive games for Easter, birthdays and Christmas.

Suzy is responsible for all of the family legal aid billing at 3PB – including CCMS processing, CF1, FAS and Events claims.

Outside of work Suzy enjoys family time with her husband and two sons, pilates and netball.

Outside of work Hannah enjoys walking, travel and spending time with her two children, husband and loopy labrador.

Cathy manages the daily banking, reconciliation and payment distribution. She will try and help with any banking payment problems.

In her free time, she enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.

With a strong understanding of criminal fee structures and funding regimes, both Lee and Katie oversee the accurate processing of graduated fee scheme claims. They also manage the monitoring and recovery of aged debt, working proactively to ensure timely payment of outstanding fees

Prior to joining 3PB, Alex worked in the financial services sector for over 24 years, where he held various roles from ‘business banking manager’ to ‘digital engagement manager’ and most recently, ‘client service account manager’ where he managed a portfolio of large global corporate companies, treasury clients.

Outside of 3PB, Alex enjoys family time, going to football matches with his daughter and collecting vinyl records.

Prior to joining 3PB, Helen worked for 20 years for major London and Surrey-based law firms as team leader of the mortgage possession unit, litigation manager of the commercial debt recovery unit, and then in-house as manager for the collections team. She relocated to Dorset, holding positions in finance/accounts departments for Hammicks, and most recently with a global aviation company.

In her spare time, Helen enjoys exercising her Border Terrier, volunteering for the charity Drone to Home, and exploring the salmon rivers of the UK with her husband, an avid fly fisherman.
